We welcome charitable organizations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations, as well as churches, private institutions and individuals,  to donate to our organization.  As a result, we can achieve our goal of providing a variety of valuable services that can meet the progressive needs of our surrounding communities.

Help In The Midst Of The Storm is a non-profit organization, who seeks to help low-incomes families and individuals first natural than Spiritual in order to become self-sufficient and show love and compassion

       
       MEET LISA 

As a Detroit native and metropolitan city resident. I recognized the need for assistance from my personal experience, and my knowledge about others who were experiencing financial hardships. 

As a result, our family lost everything we had. This was the birth of " Help In The Midst Of The Storm," which was Founded by Lisa Wilson in 2008. My husband Pastor Darryl Wilson of "Holy Temple Of Truth C.O.G.I.C.," and I struggled to raise our three children and sought out and obtained assistance from various government and charitable organizations.

  My family past financial struggles are the reasons why I am very passionate about helping the surrounding communities and showing much love for, low-income families, and others that are in need. It is our desire to provide a wide range of resources that can accelerate your progress in life. 

Instead of solely relying on temporary assistance, we want to also provide information that will educate families in reposition themsleves so that they will become more self-sufficient,

I am a graduate of Ferndale High School and attended Oakland Community College in Royal Oak, Michigan. In addition to being a Build Institute Graduate, my awards and achievements include:

• A Middleton Real Estate Training Certificate

• A Builders License Certificate Part 1 and 2.

• A Wayne County Commission Certificate of Appreciation for my 
participation in the Heavenly Connection Youth Outreach 
Ministries and Galilee Missionary Baptist Church's Health-O-Rama.  

• A Paralyzed Veterans of America Certificate of Appreciation.

• An Evangel Association of Churches and Ministries Certificate of Licensing.
